Glen Baxter is an English artist. Born in 1944 in Leeds, he studied at the Leeds College of Art and then taught at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. Best known for his absurdist style, he creates art in the style of comics with captions, but with a Surrealist twist.
He has also published numerous books such as Almost Completely Baxter: New and Selected Blurtings (2016) and Ominous Stains (2009). His works are exhibited in the Tate Gallery and Victoria & Albert Museum in London, among other museums.
