A beautiful textile border composed of tightly woven camelid (alpaca or llama wool) fibers in vibrant hues of pink, red, blue, yellow, green, brown, and white.

The textile presents four panels showing abstract anthropomorphic figures standing upon broad feet with stocky arms draped to their sides. The enlarged heads bear ovoid eyes, arched noses, wide mouths, and zigzagging headbands beneath projecting headdresses. Between the figures are panels of openwork checkerboards surrounded by repeating geometric motifs. Mounted atop a museum-quality display fabric.
